Terms of Use
Last updated:
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of hyperlens.io, the Hyperlens analytics dashboards, trading interface, account features, support channels, APIs, content, and related services (together, the "Service"). "Hyperlens," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the legal entity operating Hyperlens.
By accessing or using the Service, connecting a wallet, creating an account, signing a message, enabling one-click trading, or submitting an order through the interface, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Service Overview
Hyperlens provides market analytics and a non-custodial interface for interacting with Hyperliquid. The Service may display public market data, account data, and blockchain data from Hyperliquid or related sources.
Hyperlens is an interface and analytics product. We are not Hyperliquid, a validator, a broker, a dealer, an exchange, a clearing agency, an investment adviser, a bank, a custodian, or a fiduciary. We do not custody user funds and we do not guarantee execution, settlement, price, liquidity, uptime, or data completeness.
3. Eligibility and Compliance
You may use the Service only if you can lawfully enter into these Terms and lawfully use the Service in your jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for complying with laws, rules, and regulations that apply to you, including laws relating to derivatives, commodities, securities, sanctions, taxes, money transmission, export controls, and online conduct.
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if higher.
- You must not use the Service if you are prohibited by applicable law, sanctions, court order, or government authority.
- You must not use a VPN, proxy, false identity, or other method to evade legal, geographic, technical, risk, or compliance restrictions.
- You are responsible for determining whether trading, viewing, or using any feature is lawful and suitable for you.
4. Accounts, Wallets, and Security
You are responsible for your account credentials, wallet, device, browser profile, seed phrase, private keys, passwords, API keys, approved agents, and any activity initiated through them. Hyperlens will never ask for your seed phrase, main wallet private key, password, or agent private key.
- When you sign in with Ethereum, your wallet signs a message to prove control of a public address. This does not give Hyperlens control over your main wallet.
- When you connect a wallet for trading, your wallet provider signs messages or transactions at your direction. Review every prompt before approving it.
- You must promptly secure your account and revoke approvals if you believe your wallet, device, browser profile, or credentials are compromised.
- You are responsible for all consequences of orders, approvals, signatures, transactions, and other actions submitted through your wallet or account.
5. Non-Custodial Interface
Hyperlens does not hold, transfer, recover, freeze, reverse, or custody digital assets. Transactions, orders, liquidations, margin changes, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and other actions may be processed by Hyperliquid, wallet providers, blockchain networks, validators, relayers, bridges, or other third-party infrastructure outside our control.
Once you sign and submit an action, it may be irreversible. We cannot guarantee that any action will be accepted, rejected, executed, cancelled, settled, displayed, or indexed in the way you expect.
6. Trading, Agent Wallets, and Builder Fees
Trading digital assets and derivatives involves substantial risk. You may lose all or more than all of the value you commit, especially when using leverage, margin, perpetual futures, automated signing, or volatile markets. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions.
- Orders and execution: orders may fail, partially fill, fill at an unexpected price, be delayed, be cancelled, or interact with account state that changes between display and submission.
- One-click trading: if you enable one-click trading, Hyperlens generates an agent/API wallet in your browser and asks your main wallet to approve it on Hyperliquid. The local agent record includes the master wallet address, agent address, agent private key, and expiration timestamp, and is stored in browser local storage under a key prefixed
hl_agent_. - Agent key risk: the agent private key is a sensitive trading credential. It is stored locally in your browser, is not encrypted by Hyperlens before storage, and may be exposed if your device, browser profile, malware environment, or exported site data is compromised.
- Agent authority: agent wallets are intended to authorize supported trading actions rather than direct withdrawals, but misuse can still create losses through orders, leverage, liquidations, fees, or adverse market movement.
- Revocation: removing an agent in Hyperlens clears the local browser record. To revoke protocol-level approval, use Hyperliquid's API page or another Hyperliquid-supported agent management tool.
- Builder fees: Hyperlens may request approval for a builder fee or receive builder revenue from orders routed through the Service. Hyperliquid fees, gas, priority fees, funding, spread, slippage, and third-party fees may also apply.
7. No Financial Advice
The Service is provided for informational, analytics, and interface purposes only. Nothing in the Service is financial, investment, trading, tax, legal, accounting, or other professional advice. No chart, ranking, alert, tooltip, metric, PnL display, liquidation view, trader profile, or market signal is a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, borrow, lend, use leverage, or enter any transaction.
You should conduct your own research and consult your own advisers before making financial decisions. Past performance, leaderboard placement, historical activity, and displayed market data do not predict future results.
8. Data, Accuracy, and Availability
Market, blockchain, order-book, account, leaderboard, wallet, builder, liquidation, points, and analytics data may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, stale, unavailable, misclassified, or affected by upstream provider behavior. We may index, cache, estimate, transform, normalize, or filter public data to make the Service useful, but we do not guarantee accuracy.
The Service may be interrupted by maintenance, deploys, congestion, third-party failures, network issues, wallet-provider issues, Hyperliquid changes, database failures, browser limitations, or events outside our control. We may change, suspend, throttle, restrict, or discontinue any feature at any time.
9. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate applicable law, sanctions, export controls, court orders, or third-party rights.
- Exploit, disrupt, reverse engineer, overload, scrape at abusive rates, interfere with, or bypass the Service, its security controls, or its access restrictions.
- Submit malware, abusive traffic, spam, phishing, fraudulent content, false support requests, or misleading information.
- Manipulate markets, deceive other users, launder money, finance unlawful activity, or engage in conduct that we reasonably determine is harmful or abusive.
- Use automated systems in a way that degrades the Service or violates rate limits, robots rules, API terms, or written instructions from Hyperlens.
- Impersonate Hyperlens, Hyperliquid, another user, or any third party, or falsely suggest endorsement or affiliation.
10. Intellectual Property
The Service, including software, design, user interface, charts, text, graphics, logos, names, trademarks, compilations, and other content, is owned by Hyperlens or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property and other laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for its intended purpose.
You may not copy, modify, create derivative works from, distribute, sell, rent, sublicense, or exploit the Service except as permitted by these Terms or with our prior written consent. Public blockchain data remains public data; these Terms do not give us ownership of your wallet address or on-chain activity.
11. Third-Party Services
The Service may link to, display, depend on, or interoperate with third-party services, including Hyperliquid, wallet providers, browser extensions, analytics providers, Telegram, TradingView, blockchain networks, bridges, RPC providers, explorers, and data providers. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies.
We are not responsible for third-party services, their content, their security, their availability, or losses caused by your use of them.
12. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information, including cookies, analytics, wallet authentication data, public blockchain data, support messages, and locally stored agent wallet records. By using the Service, you acknowledge our privacy practices.
13. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk for Hyperlens or others, used the Service unlawfully, or if continued access would create legal, security, operational, or compliance risk. You may stop using the Service at any time.
Because Hyperlens is non-custodial, suspension of the Hyperlens interface does not necessarily affect your ability to access public networks or third-party protocols through other interfaces, subject to their terms and applicable law.
14. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, security, reliability, and error-free operation.
We do not warrant that the Service, data, orders, integrations, third-party infrastructure, signatures, transaction submission, one-click trading, or analytics will be accurate, uninterrupted, secure, timely, or suitable for your needs.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hyperlens and its contributors, owners, officers, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or enhanced damages; lost profits; lost revenue; lost opportunities; trading losses; liquidation losses; loss of data; loss of goodwill; or loss of digital assets.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of USD 100 or the amount you paid directly to Hyperlens for the Service in the three months before the claim arose. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some limitations may not apply to you.
16. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Hyperlens and its contributors, owners, officers, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, licensors, and service providers from and against claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, your violation of law, your trading activity, your wallet or account activity, or your infringement of third-party rights.
17. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and may provide additional notice through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
18. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the legal entity operating Hyperlens, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory law in your jurisdiction requires otherwise. Any dispute will be resolved individually, not as a class or representative action, to the extent permitted by law.
Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. This section does not prevent either party from seeking urgent injunctive or equitable relief where appropriate.
19. Miscellaneous
These Terms, together with any policies or additional terms referenced in them, are the entire agreement between you and Hyperlens regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, financing, or asset sale.
20. Contact
For questions about these Terms, contact [email protected]. You may also reach us through the Hyperlens Telegram chatroom at t.me/HyperlensIO. Do not send private keys, seed phrases, passwords, agent keys, or other sensitive credentials through email or Telegram.
